Birmingham boss Clark welcomes deal for Man City's Rusnak

Birmingham City boss Lee Clark is delighted with their loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Albert Rusnak.

Clark is excited by his latest recruit, who comes with the highest of recommendations from Manchester City head of elite development, Patrick Vieira.

"Albert is a player that I know well," the Blues manager told the Birmingham Mail.

"He plays in the Jesse Lingard type of role and is a similar type of player, although I wouldn't say he will go and score four on his debut, I don't think we can expect that.

"But I am really excited to have him. I spoke to Patrick Vieira and he has really high hopes for him and believes he will be among Manchester City's array of mega-talent in their first-team squad next season.

"We are delighted Patrick and Manchester City have allowed Albert to come and we are looking forward to working with him. We have been given permission by Manchester City to play him in the Cup so we will be looking to put him in there.

"He will bring a lot to us. All of our strikers give us different things and Albert will be able to link with all of them. And the type of players that we now have in the midfield area, talented ball players, gives us the possibilities to change one or two things higher up the pitch."
