Cashed up PSG are chasing Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Moroccan, 27 had a mixed start to his Arsenal career after arriving for £15m from Bordeaux last summer, starting brightly then failing to score from November.

Manager Arsene Wenger played Robin van Persie as his lone striker with Chamakh and Nicklas Bendtner used mainly as subs.

PSG have been bought by wealthy Qatar-based investors and have cash to spend.
