It was a big-name Rangers reunion in Sydney this week. Former Rangers defender Dave McPherson flew in to join business partner Lou Sticca to watch their star client Scott McDonald, the Celtic striker, in action for Australia against Uzbekistan.
McPherson also caught up with his former Gers teammate Ian Ferguson and coach Archie Knox, who were also in Sydney for the World Cup qualifier.
Ferguson is now in charge of new A-League club North Queensland Fury and is still beaming after their coup in signing Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler and Dunfermline Athletic captain Scott Wilson.
Knox, meanwhile, is in Australia to run his eye over the Fury's management structure on request of Ferguson.
