Newcastle United are in talks with Santos for whizkid Angelo Gabriel.

Globo Esporte says Newcastle are keen to sign the 17 year-old, with the aim of allowing him to initially continue to develop in Brazil.

The attacker became the youngest player to score in the Copa Libertadores - at 16 years and 116 days.

Another great Angelo record was surpassing Pelé in his youth when making his debut with the Santos shirt. He did it at 15 years and 10 months.

Newcastle are now in talks to sign Angelo ahead of European rivals.
