Besiktas are struggling to agree personal terms with Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor still has two years left on his deal at White Hart Lane, which pays £100,000-a-week, however the highest income tax rate in Turkey is just 15 per cent.

Besiktas coach Slaven Bilic confirmed: "Adebayor is a very talented player, anyone would like him to be a part of their squad.

"We are interested in Adebayor however, we have to also consider his financial demands."
