Besic feels he has now adapted to Premier League with Everton

Everton midfielder Muhamed Besic feels he has now adapted to the pace of Premier League after a 'difficult beginning' in his debut season in England.

The 22-year old points out his Man of the Match performance in the 0-0 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion in January as the turnaround point in his season.

"The Premier League is faster but now, I am used to it after nine months," Besic, who joined the Toffees from Hungarian club Ferencvaros last summer, told the Liverpool Echo.

"But in the beginning it was difficult because everything is fast.

"But the West Bromwich game was when I felt I was strong in this league.

"There was no particular moment when I found it difficult but, for example, when I played against Liverpool in September, you notice just how fast it is.

"I played well but after the game I felt tired and normally I don't feel tired because I have power. It has been the small things."
