Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema blames himself for the slow start to his Spanish Liga career.
Benzema has admitted he might not have done enough to deserve a starting spot at Real Madrid in the past.
"I know when I play well and when I do it badly and if at any moment I have played less, it is because I did not make enough of an effort to deserve it," he told AS.
"What is key for me is that I have recovered my speed, I can't guarantee that I will score three goals in every match, but I will do everything possible to score at least one."
