Napoli coach Rafa Benitez believes Chelsea could've won the Premier League last season if he'd been supported in the January market. Instead, Benitez helped Chelsea win the Europa League, but believes it could've been so much more.
"When I was waiting for a challenge, some people said, 'He cannot get a job'," said Benitez. "No, no, I was waiting for a proper challenge, one where I could compete for trophies. That was the case. The priority of the club was to finish in the top three and we did it and we won another trophy.
"I'm sure that if we had signed some players in January it could have been even better. We were looking for a midfielder because Oriol Romeu was injured. We had names in mind, but they decided no, we had to carry on."
