Inter Milan coach Rafa Benitez has hinted their transfer plans are not over.
The Nerazzurri were expected to sign a midfielder such as Javier Mascherano, but the former Liverpool midfielder has now gone to Barcelona.
He said: "Every Coach would like to bring in players he knows well. I am the manager and the club knows what I want. Now they'll see what can be done.
"Our channels of communication are clear, as I speak to director Marco Branca and he talks to President Massimo Moratti."
