Benfica winger Lazar Markovic is set to complete his lengthy medical with Liverpool this morning.
Sky Sports says Liverpool are very close to completing the signing of Markovic, who is having a medical ahead of a £20m transfer.
He was at Melwood yesterday afternoon and left without anything signed.
However, formalities are expected to be completed today.
The 20-year-old Markovic can play out wide or as an orthodox striker, and has already been capped 12 times by Serbia.
