Benfica midfielder Nemanja Matic was left frustrated after their Europa League final defeat to Chelsea.

Former Blues junior Matic is convinced they were the better team in Amsterdam.

"We played a good game. We played very well, we had more possession, but we lacked luck in the end," began the Serbian.

"I can only congratulate Chelsea on the victory, but their come back made me very unhappy. We did not lack in quality, I think we played well.

"We had more control of the game, more opportunities to score, but had no luck. It's not always the best team that wins."
