Benfica hero Zoran Filipovic is disappointed seeing Nemanja Matic returning to Chelsea.
Chelsea are in advanced talks over a fee for the Serb, who has been outstanding for Benfica over the last 18 months.
Filipovic is close to Matic and told Antena 1: "Maybe, Benfica will not have so much quality in midfield. With Matic, I think Benfica had more chances to win the title.
"There has long been talk of Matic, because he has already demonstrated that he is a great footballer and he can play in another stronger league, the best in Europe.
"Unfortunately, Chelsea did not realize this when selling him to the Primeira and now must pay big money to get him back."
