Benfica defender Fabio Coentrao says he is happy to leave the club if an acceptable offer comes in for him.

The 22-year old Portugal international is being linked with a move to Manchester City and Barcelona but Benfica have reportedly already rejected offers from the pair.

The Portuguese club want around £24.6million (€30m) for his services and if that type of bid comes in, Coentrao would definitely consider a departure.

"I do not say many things about this subject. But if a bid is positive for the club, I will accept the exit," he said.

"I am at a big club but is normal that I desire to improve like a professional."
