Benfica coach Jesus not spoiling for Sherwood fight

Benfica coach Jorge Jesus isn't spoiling for a new fight with Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood ahead of tonight's Europa League return-leg.

Jesus reacted to Luisao's third goal last week by waving three fingers at Sherwood, prompting the Tottenham manager to retaliate, and the two men did not shake hands at the final whistle.

Jesus, 59, said: "It's normal. A lot of people have similar problems in England. A lot of other managers have problems like Mancini, Pellegrini, Ferguson, because the technical areas are so close together.

"It's normal. I never disrespected the coach. We're not going to get into more quarrels.

"I didn't make any gesture to Tim Sherwood when I showed my three fingers. I only said that I was winning 3-1. But the most important thing for me was the quality of the play."
