Belgium confident regarding fitness of Chelsea pair Hazard, Courtois

The Belgium national team believes Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois will be fit to play this weekend.

The Red Devils take on Andorra in Brussels on Friday before meeting Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica on Monday in Euro2016 qualifying and they expect goalkeeper Courtois, as well as winger Eden Hazard, to prove their fitness after picking up injuries in their club's win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Courtois was taken to hospital after a collision with Alexis Sanchez which saw blood trickle from his ear, forcing him to remain in England, while Hazard suffered a toe injury but has already linked up with the squad.

The news is good for Hazard and Belgium assistant coach Vital Borkelmans revealed that Courtois will be available after assuring manager Marc Wilmots that he will be given the all-clear.

"Yesterday Thibault spoke to the head coach Marc Wilmots on the phone and said he feels good," said Borkelmans.

"Normally he would have joined the group today and trained tomorrow but things are fine."

The fixtures will be Belgium's first in Group B qualifying and they will come up against teams who were beaten in their opening matches with Andorra going down 2-1 to Wales and Bosnia losing 2-1 at home to Cyprus.
