Belgium coach Roberto Martinez is emerging as a target for Newcastle United's new owners.
Martinez's contract is due to expire this summer and The Times says the Catalan is on the shortlist of Newcastle's board.
The former Everton manager could be installed at Newcastle before preseason training, though it would mean him sacrificing the Qatar World Cup later in the year.
Martinez would find his former Wigan Athletic assistant manager Graeme Jones at Newcastle, who is expected to stay even if Steve Bruce is dismissed.
It's emerged Bruce will be due £8m in compensation should he be sacked this month.
