Belgium coach Roberto Martinez says Thierry Henry will remain his No2 at next year's World Cup.
The Arsenal great has been linked with a club move in recent weeks.
But Martinez said: "We had a collaboration agreement during the European Championship. During the final stages of a tournament I need two full-time assistants, but not during the qualifying period.
"I know the value of Thierry; in August he made himself available again and will remain with us until the World Cup. Our contracts both end in 2022. He will be watching our players in Ligue 1 and Premier League. He is a perfect solution. Could he be my heir? There is nothing planned. What will happen in a year I cannot predict."
