It has been revealed that Beijing Guoan fans used their own form of cussing when they took on the Melbourne Victory in the Asian Champions League last week.

The form of insulting, called jing ma, was used by a vast majority of the 500 Beijing supporters who turned up to see the two sides play at Etihad Stadium last Wednesday.

The Global Times reported that fans used derogatory chants such as 'Melbourne, sh* bi!' and 'n*u bi' towards the Victory players and although the natives would not have understood, the words are believed to be very insulting in Beijing.

This type of cussing was supposed to be stamped out as Beijing authorities wanted it stopped prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics but one fan admitted that the supporters were just trying to turn the Victory's home stadium into their own.

"We wanted to turn this place into our home pitch," the fan wrote on the web. "To let the Australians know that we Chinese are tough too, even though we didn't win."
