Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic was delighted for matchwinner Mame Biram Diouf after victory at Manchester City.

It marked Diouf's first goal for the club.

He said: "We have seen the quality he has in training. We believed in him.

"The best thing about him is he is a good guy and he works so hard.

"We are all pleased for him to get the goal. He deserved it for all the work he puts in. Hopefully he gets some more."
