David Beckham and his business group are confident that they will get their Miami MLS franchise off the ground sooner than later.
The former Manchester United and LA Galaxy star has so far experienced some difficulty in finding a suitable venue to house his Miami expansion franchise which has prompted suggestions that MLS Commissioner Don Garber may look elsewhere.
However, a Miami Beckham United spokesperson has made it clear that plans for a home stadium are continuing to move along nicely.
"The reality is that everything is progressing very well," said the spokesperson.
"Miami is still David's number one choice and it will happen. The fans and the people of Miami are behind us and we hope to announce some positive and exciting news soon."
