Beckham disappointed after LA Galaxy draw blank in Toronto

Wednesday night at BMO Field saw Toronto FC and LA Galaxy play out a scoreless draw in front of 22,453 fans.

The match was the second of a three-game road trip for the travelling Galaxy who lacked cohesion without captain Landon Donovan as they managed their third draw of the campaign.

David Beckham picked up his fifth yellow card of the season (in just game six) and Juninho was sent off late in the piece meaning both players will be out of the weekend's trip to Chicago Fire.

Despite the result, Beckham felt the Galaxy had some strong chances but simply did not have the luck required to get on the scoreboard.

"We had the chances, we just couldn't put them away," Beckham said. "When you have that many chances, sometimes you need a bit of luck on your side and we just didn't have it.

"We hit the post, we hit the crossbar a couple of times and we had the majority of the play and the majority of the chances. But it's disappointing. Obviously we want to win these games."
