Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew believes LA Galaxy star David Beckham could add plenty to his squad.
Speculation still persists regarding Beckham and a loan move to an English Premier League club this winter and Pardew insisted that the 35-year old former Manchester United midfielder would be a good fit for the Magpies if he was to come back to his homeland for a short spell.
"I don't know.
"I think he is a player that could play in this team and could add something to this squad, but whether he is available to us, I am not aware of yet," he told Sky Sports 1.
Beckham has said that he may not go on loan in January but rumours are still rife that he will end up somewhere in the Premiership, most likely Tottenham.
