England star David Beckham impressed his new AC Milan team-mates in his first training session. Beckham, on loan from LA Galaxy, linked up with Milan at their fitness camp in Dubai.

After yesterday's run-out, captain Paolo Maldini said: "Beckham is a great champion but we shouldn't forget he has come into a great team and a great club like Milan.

"I've already noticed his great desire to work immediately and play as soon as possible."

Becks, 33, officially becomes a Milan player on January 7 and could make his debut four days later against Roma.
