Bayern Munich powerbroker Franz Beckenbauer has taken a swipe at Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

Beckenbauer is unimpressed by Khedira's current form.

"In his current physical condition he does not help anyone," says Beckenbauer, "he now lacks everything.

"He needs to play to his strengths. At the moment, even if he didn't play, he would go unnoticed."
