Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane has paid tribute to Manchester City.

Sane left City before the end of last season in a €50m deal.

And this morning he posted to social media: "I am extremely grateful and proud of my four years at City.

"It was a very intense and successful time. We won a lot of trophies and I was named Young Player of the Year in 2018.

“I learned a lot and became the player I am today."

The German played 135 times for City, scoring 39 goals and producing 45 assists.
