Kicker says the Bosman deal, however, remains on track for the Reading left-back.

A medical check is to be organised before Richards pens a contract to 2025. It's understood both parties have verbally agreed terms.

With David Alaba departing, Richards will arrive as cover for left-back Alphonso Davies next season.
