Bayern Munich have told Edin Dzeko he must accept a pay-cut if he is to make the move from Manchester City.

Bayern want to sign a new centre-forward and is stepping up their interest in Dzeko after receiving little encouragement from Borussia Dortmund over Robert Lewandowski.

BILD says Bayern chief Christian Nerlinger is quietly confident of agreeing terms with City over a fee for Dzeko, but will need the 26 year-old to accept a pay-cut to make the deal happen.
