Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has hinted a deal for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane could be off.

Bayern powerbrokers have confirmed their intention to sign the Germany international this summer.

However, Hoeness says City's asking price is simply too rich for Bayern.

"It's unlikely that it will work; it's about sums of money, they're insane," Hoeness told Kicker.

It's suggested Bayern have set a ceiling of €80m to pay for Sane.
