Bayern Munich plan massive €50M bid for Man Utd, Man City target De Bruyne

Bayern Munich are set to spark a transfer scramble for VfL Wolfsburg star Kevin de Bruyne.

The Belgium international has attracted enquiries from Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG after a stellar season with VfL.

De Bruyne only signed permanently for VfL last summer after being sold by Chelsea.

BILD says Bayern are making his signing a priority this summer as they seek long-term replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, both 31.

Bayern are putting aside a massive €50 million to convince Wolfsburg to part with De Bruyne, who was described by former PSV Eindhoven and Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Hans van Breukelen as "the best player in the world" at this time.

Should they firm up their interest, it's sure to kick United, City and PSG into action this summer.
