Renato Sanches has been named the Young Player of the Tournament at Euro2016.
The 18-year-old midfielder impressed for Portugal throughout the tournament in France, helping his country win the title over the hosts in Paris on Sunday night.
Sanches left Benfica to join German giants Bayern Munich in an initial €35million deal earlier this summer and went some way to vindicating his massive price tag by performing with maturity and composure beyond his years in his six outings at the Euros.
The teenager started three times, including the 1-0 final win, and scored the equalising goal in the quarter-final clash with Poland before converting from the spot in the penalty shootout in which Portugal were victorious.
Congratulations @renatosanches35!
