Out-of-favour Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has remained coy regarding his potential move to Liverpool this summer.

Gotze has struggled for regular minutes on the pitch at Bayern this season and many believe that the German international will now be departing the Allianz Arena over the summer.

A reunion with former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool has been seen as the most likely move for Gotze but the 23-year-old has decided not to give away too much when asked about the prospective switch to Anfield next season.

After scoring for Germany in the 4-1 friendly win over Italy on Tuesday, Gotze said: "For me it is important to play because that is when I am happy.

"Everything else will come by itself and there's no need to talk about that."
