Bayern Munich keeping an eye on Man City's Kompany

German giants Bayern Munich are monitoring the situation of Vincent Kompany at Manchester City.

The City skipper played for Belgium late last month despite having not played for his club for eight matches because of a calf injury.

The decision to play was met with derision from City boss Roberto Mancini and it is believed that there has been some strain between the pair ever since.

Reports suggests that Bayern are tracking Kompany's current position with murmurs that they could quite possibly make a move in the summer transfer window when new manager Pep Guardiola arrives.
