Lucas Hernandez has played his last game for Atletico Madrid.

It was announced yesterday that Lucas would move to Bayern Munich at the end of the season in an €80m deal.

And as part of the agreement, Atletico settled on Lucas undergoing clean up surgery on his knee. The decision ends the Frenchman's season.

Lucas had returned to training Atletico and was expected to play towards the end of the season.

But Bayern wanted their record signing clear for preseason and insisted on the surgery in Austria yesterday.
