Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick is in contact with Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane, it has been revealed.

The Germany attacker, now in the final stretch of his recovery from early season knee surgery, is locked in talks with Bayern about a return home this summer.

BILD says Flick has spoken to Sane about his future and a possible transfer to Bayern.

Sane was all set to join Bayern in August only to suffer a serious knee injury in the Community Shield clash with Liverpool.

The midfielder returned to U23 action before the coronavirus suspension.
