Bayern Munich chief exec Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has warned Pep Guardiola not to get too cocky over Leroy Sane.

The Manchester City manager was adamant on Friday that Sane would not be leaving for Bayern.

"For a long time they have been talking about their interest in Leroy Sane," said Guardiola. "(But) next season he can stay here and the season after and the season after."

However, Rummenigge countered: "I do not know if Pep knows everything that goes on in his club. No idea. Let's wait and see.

"I do not want to submit any confirmed reports. If there is something to announce, then we will do that. But that is not yet so far."
