Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is tightlipped on their pursuit of Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane.

Rummenigge has refused to discuss their reported pursuit of Sane.

The 24-year-old was reportedly on the verge of joining the Bavarian giants after agreeing a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions, but Rummenigge chose not to comment when pressed for an update.

“I'm not talking about players who are under contract to other clubs," he told Bild when specifically asked about Sane.

“I can only talk about the value of our players. One thing is clear: We too must act with foresight under the new circumstances.

“It is the task of Hasan Salihamidzic, Oliver Kahn and the coach to think about the squad planning for next season. That includes possible entries, but also exits."
