Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists they're not competing for the signature of Barcelona star Lionel Messi. Bayern, working with adidas, have been linked with a bid for the Argentine.
"We are talking crazy money; any deal would cost a lot more than we paid for Javi Martínez. We wouldn't go that high," said Rummenigge.
"Barça would never sell Messi. He's a saint there and they won't sell him.
"It would be in Messi's best interest to stay at Barcelona. He fits in perfectly there."
