Bayern Munich chief Rummenigge hints at falling out between Stoke target Shaqiri and Inter

Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has indicated that Stoke City transfer target Shaqiri has fallen out with Inter Milan.

Since Shaqiri joined the Italian club in January from Bayern, he has only made 20 appearances and scored just three goals for the side, and Rummenigge has hinted that there may be problems for the player under Roberto Manchini.

He said: "Why do Inter want to sell Shaqiri so quickly? They did tell me, but I cannot reveal that information."

Stoke have been interested in the Swiss attacker since last year after he shone at the World Cup in Brazil.
