Newcastle United fullback Kieran Trippier is not heading away from the club this winter.

The club captain was being linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

However, Bayern have confirmed that the deal has now been called off due to a financial disagreement.

Spurs are said to have rejected Bayern's £12.8 million bid for the veteran full-back.
