Bayern Munich have beaten Manchester United for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski. The Poland international, inside the final 18 months of his BVB deal, was expected to sign for United at the end of the season.
However, TMW says Lewandowski has now agreed to join Bayern after the German giants were pushed to sign the centre-forward by incoming coach Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola made Lewandowski a priority target and Bayern now are understood to have an agreement with Dortmund and Lewandowski to bring the player to Munich in June.
