Pep Guardiola will reportedly monitor the situation at Manchester United before deciding on his future next year.

The Bayern Munich manager continues to be heavily linked with a future move the English Premier League and the Manchester Evening News suggests that United are now on the radar.

Guardiola, who is out of contract with the German giants next summer, is being touted as Manuel Pellegrini's successor at Manchester City in 2016 but it is believed that United are now a genuine contender.

Of course it all depends on whether or not Louis van Gaal will still be in the job at Old Trafford in a little over 12 months' time and Spaniard Guardiola will reportedly keep an eye on things at United over the course of next season.
