Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah has lifted the lid on Kai Havertz's meek performances in the gym.

The 20-year-old midfielder is one of Europe's brightest talents, with Liverpool and Barcelona reportedly interested in his services.

But Tah says his teammate should do some strength work to increase his lanky build.

"So, the one who never wants to do weight training or anything like that is Kai Havertz," Tah told Goal.

"It's always funny when we all go into the weight room. He just wants to have the ball at his feet. He doesn't want to do strength training.

"He just really loves having the ball at his feet. He doesn't like strength training, and I get that, but maybe he'd be a bit more built if he did."
