Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has shut down claims of a move away this summer.

Xabi has been linked with Tottenham and Real Madrid in recent days.

He said today: “For me it is normal that there are rumours at this point in the season.

"There have been many years in the world of football. But we still have great things to achieve this season.

"Hence, my head has been one hundred percent here for a few months. And my head is also 100 percent ready for the next season."
