Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso insists he's not pining for the Real Madrid job.
Xabi is regarded as among the candidates to eventually succeed Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid coach.
But he told Marca: "Everything has its time. Now I'm here, I'm very happy and what has to come in the future we'll see.
"Normally in football when you think about the medium-long term you lose focus on what's closest to you and right now I only think about what we have here."
The former Real midfielder added: "Whatever has to come will be seen at the end of the season."
