QPR captain Joey Barton says they can't get carried away after victory at West Bromwich Albion.

Barton scored his first Premier League goal since April 2012 during the victory which takes QPR to within a point and a place of climbing out of the Premier League drop zone.

"You can't get too carried away," he said.

"We are still in the bottom three and it is only three points, but it has to give us some impetus."
