Four clubs are now interested in signing Joey Barton following the breakdown of the midfielder's proposed move to West Ham, Sky Sports is reporting.

Barton has attracted interest from two Premier League clubs as well as two French Ligue 1 teams, including the 32 year-old's previous employers, Marseille.

Barton, who has one cap for England, has been without a club since his release by QPR following the club's relegation from the Premier League last season.
