QPR captain Joey Barton reckons the club would be safe from the drop if Chris Ramsey had been in charge from the start of the season.

QPR will be down if they lose to Manchester City.

"Since Chris came in the level of performance has been very, very good," said Barton.

"We've thrown points away late doors," Barton said. "But if Chris had been in charge all of the season, we may have been safe at this point."
