Barnsley have struck terms with Manchester United for midfielder Oliver Norwood.
Barnsley are hopeful of signing Norwood after reportedly agreeing a £400,000 fee with the Reds.
The Northern Ireland international midfielder, who turned down a new deal at Old Trafford, is also interesting Huddersfield.
Tykes director Don Rowing told the Sheffield Star: "We're hopeful he signs because we've offered him a very good deal but we know there's another club interested in signing him, so we just have to hope that he wants to play for us."
