Barnsley boss Danny Wilson says they're in talks with Manchester United to extend the loan of Ben Pearson.
Pearson, aged 20, has sparkled at Oakwell since joining on loan and netted the winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 home win over Port Vale.
"We'd love to extend Ben's deal, we've been very pleased with his contribution," said Wilson to The Star.
"We're in talks with Manchester United at the moment, so hopefully we can do that.
"I'm sure from Manchester United's point-of-view they want their young players to get experience of first team football - and thankfully we can give him that."
