Bari sports director Giorgio Perinetti admits they're planning a signing spree in preparation for their Serie A return.

Siena striker Massimo Maccarone tops their shopping list and Perinetti said of the former Middlesbrough man: "I do not know how he will move from Siena, a city which is very close to him. The player, however, is a valid target."

Edgar Barreto, the Reggina midfielder, is also in Bari's sights.

"I hope to confirm Barreto, who has done very well. Certainly, we are also interested in (Christian) Obodo, but Udinese have many other good players."
